Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 11, 2026

At 4QT, protecting your privacy is at the core of what we do. We don't just see data security as a checkbox; it's a responsibility we take seriously. All information you share with us is handled with the utmost care, using industry-leading practices to safeguard it from unauthorized access. We've put layers of protection in place to ensure your information remains confidential, just as you'd expect. Trusting us with your data means trusting us to protect it every step of the way.

Introduction to Our Privacy Practices

At 4QT, we understand that your data is valuable. That's why we've created a transparent and thorough privacy policy that outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information. Our practices align with industry standards, ensuring your data is handled carefully. We want you to be fully informed about how we handle your data so you can trust us with your information.

Whether you're a first-time visitor or a long-term user, we aim to clarify how we treat your data. Like you trust a bank with your money, we want you to trust us with your information.

What Information We Collect

To provide the best services, we require specific data, including personal information like your name, email address, and phone number. We may also gather non-personal data, like your IP address, to improve our website's functionality. This information is crucial for providing a personalized and seamless experience on our platform.

Think of it as giving us the tools to craft a better experience for you. It's like trying to build a house without nails without these details. We need the right tools to get the job done.

How We Use Your Information

When you share your information with 4QT, rest assured that it will be used responsibly. We use your data to enhance our services, communicate with you effectively, and ensure a smooth user experience. For example, if you sign up for our newsletter, your email lets us send you updates on the latest features and offers.

We also analyze the data to improve our platform. This process is similar to adjusting the sails on a ship to ensure it stays on course. This information is necessary to steer our services in the right direction.

Data Security Measures

At 4QT, we don't just talk about security—we live it. We implement robust security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, theft, or loss. These safety measures consist of frequent audits, secure servers, and encryption.

Imagine your data as being locked in a safe. Only authorized personnel with the correct combination can access it. That's the level of security we strive to provide every day.

Sharing Your Information

We recognize how critical it is to protect the privacy of your information. That's why we only sell or share your data with third parties if it's necessary to provide the services you've requested. For instance, if we partner with a payment processor to handle transactions or a marketing platform to send you personalized offers, they must adhere to our strict privacy standards.

Consider this like lending a book to a friend. You trust them to return it in the same condition, just as we trust our partners to handle your data responsibly.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies aren't just for baking—they're also small pieces of data we use to enhance your experience on our site. These cookies help us remember your preferences, track usage, and improve our services. They allow us to provide a more personalized and efficient browsing experience.

Think of cookies as the digital equivalent of leaving a bookmark in your favorite book. They help us pick up where you left off, ensuring a seamless experience every time you visit.

Your Rights and Choices

At 4QT, we believe you should have control over your data. That's why we offer you the right to access, update, or delete your personal information anytime. We are here to assist you if you have concerns about using your data. You are the director of your data privacy journey, and we're here to support you.

Imagine you're the director of a movie. You have the final say in how the story unfolds. Similarly, you have the authority to shape your data privacy journey.

Data Retention and Deletion

We only retain your information for as long as is required to achieve the goals specified in this policy. Once it is no longer required, we guarantee the safe deletion of your data.

Think of it like spring cleaning. When something is no longer helpful, you get rid of it. Your data is retained only as long as necessary since we use the same logic.

Children's Privacy

Children under 13 are not eligible to use 4QT's services. We do not intentionally gather personal data from minors, and we will take action to remove any information we learn has been obtained about a kid without the agreement of their parents.

See a playground where well-defined rules protect children. Our policies serve as such guidelines, guaranteeing the constant protection of children's data.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

As our services evolve, so too may our privacy practices. We'll update this policy when necessary to reflect changes in our operations or to comply with legal requirements. Please review this page regularly to stay informed.

These updates are like software patches designed to keep everything running smoothly and securely. Staying up-to-date ensures you're always aware of how your data is handled.

Location Information

LMS4QT collects and uses location information to provide core business features for authorized employees and sales teams.

What location data we collect

  • Precise (GPS) location coordinates
  • Approximate location (when precise location is unavailable)
  • Location data collected in the foreground and in the background during active tracking sessions

When we collect location data

We collect location data only when you use location-based features, including:

  1. Employee Route Tracking — when you manually start a route tracking session, the App records your GPS route while you travel for field visits, site visits, and client meetings. This may continue in the background while a persistent notification ("Route tracking active") is displayed.
  2. Attendance Check-in — when you mark attendance, the App may capture your location to verify your check-in location.

We do not collect location data when you are not using these features.

Why we use location data

  • To record employee travel routes and distance for field-visit reporting
  • To verify attendance check-in location
  • To sync route and visit data with your organization's CRM backend for internal business use

How location data is stored and shared

  • Location data is transmitted securely (HTTPS) to our servers used by your organization.
  • Data is shared only with your employer/organization and authorized CRM users within your company.
  • We do not sell location data to third parties.
  • We do not use location data for advertising.

Your choices and controls

  • You can deny location permission; however, route tracking and location-based attendance may not work.
  • Background location is requested only for route tracking and requires your explicit permission ("Allow all the time").
  • You can stop route tracking at any time from within the App.
  • You can revoke location permission anytime in your device Settings.

Data retention

Location and route data is retained as long as required by your organization's business and CRM policies, or as required by applicable law.

This Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications, websites, and digital services developed, published, and maintained by 4th Quarter Technologies Pvt. Ltd. 4th Quarter Technologies Pvt Ltd including applications made available through the Google Play Store and other app distribution platforms.
